AIP-HC Overview
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly embedded in healthcare, compliance professionals face new responsibilities, new risks, and new opportunities to contribute. The AIP-HC™ credential prepares professionals to identify, assess, and govern AI-related risks by applying established compliance principles within multidisciplinary AI governance efforts.
The AIP-HC™ credential program provides a practical framework for understanding AI technologies, evaluating governance and oversight considerations, and addressing issues such as privacy, bias, transparency, explainability, human oversight, model monitoring, and regulatory considerations. Rather than replacing traditional compliance principles, the program demonstrates how those principles evolve to address emerging technologies.
The credential is designed primarily for healthcare compliance professionals. It is also valuable for professionals working in privacy, legal, audit, risk management, clinical research compliance, and other governance functions that contribute to responsible AI governance within healthcare organizations.
Healthcare organizations increasingly require practical approaches for governing artificial intelligence responsibly. The AIP-HC™ credential program prepares healthcare compliance professionals to confidently and competently contribute to those efforts, regardless of where AI governance resides within their organization.
We don't just promote responsible AI governance—we practice it. ComplyAIQ uses advanced AI tools to support research, analysis, and initial drafting while maintaining rigorous human review, validation, and refinement of every published resource. This reflects the same principles of sound judgment, governance integrity, and responsible oversight that the AIP-HC™ credential is designed to recognize.

AIP-HC Foundational Cohorts
The AIP-HC credential program launched in August 2025 through five Foundational Cohorts: Founding, Continuum, Cornerstone, Keystone, and Capstone. Together, the cohorts included 168 professionals, with Foundational Cohort enrollment closing in July 2026.
Built on the AIP-HC Governance Model
The AIP-HC credential is grounded in the AIP-HC Governance Model, a structured framework for modernizing healthcare compliance programs for the AI era.
The model integrates AI oversight within the elements of an effective compliance program, emphasizing strategic partnership, risk-proportional oversight, lifecycle accountability, vendor accountability, human-in-the-loop decision-making, and defensibility through documentation.
The credential prepares compliance professionals to apply these principles in real healthcare environments and to lead responsible AI governance with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
